A spiritual formation community is generally a mid-size group (50-250 people) which has two components: a large group teaching time and smaller breakout groups (around tables, typically) for processing and personalizing the teaching content. These communities generally meet for a longer period of time -- 10 weeks; a semester; a year (with breaks) – and may even carry the same table groups from session to session, enabling deeper connections among members.
Women in the Word
Women in the Word has two unique expressions - a daytime group that meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:25-11:15 and an evening group that meets on Tuesday nights from 7:00-8:30. Children’s ministry is available. Both of these communities meet at the church. ContactTara Kahnertfor more information. Learn more about our Women's Ministry.
Ironmen also has two options - a Monday night group (7:00-8:30) and a Thursday morning group (6:15-7:45), with no child care provided for either. Both groups cover the same material each session (fall, winter, and spring) and meet at the church. Contact Pat Goodman for more information.Learn more about our Men's Ministry.
Life Recovery is a spiritual formation community which provides an environment of God's grace and power for those who are healing from such issues as addiction, co-dependency, anxiety, depression, abuse, etc. This 12-step-based group meets every Friday night at the church for dinner from 6:00-7:00, followed by worship and teaching from 7:00-7:45 and small groups (gender and issue specific "rooms") from 8:00-9:15.
