GRACE DISABILITIES

At Grace, we recognize the essential and invaluable contribution of ALL people to the life of the church. Grace Disabilities strives to ensure that individuals and families affected by developmental disabilities, hidden disabilities, mental health challenges, trauma and other unique life experiences are fully empowered, supported, and always weaved into the fabric of our church.

FRIENDS WORSHIP

Friends Worship is a worship service specifically designed to meet the needs, abilities and gifts of teenagers and adults with disabilities who, because of their disabilities, would not enjoy the main worship service of the Church. We are meeting on Sunday mornings at 9:30am in room 190 and via Zoom at the link below.

Serve

Join us in our mission to come alongside individuals & families affected by disabilities. To sign up to serve, fill out the application below. Every volunteer serving within our ministry must have a completed background check on file. If you have any questions about this process or serving please contact us!

Grace Kids | Buddy Ministry:

The Buddy Ministry provides 1-on-1 care, discipleship, and friendship to children that would benefit from extra support in the classroom, many who are affected by disabilities. Buddies partner with children to participate in the classroom that most appropriately meets their needs. Our Buddy Room is available for those that would benefit from a quiet and sensory friendly space. The Buddy Ministry provides the opportunity for parents and caregivers to worship together, knowing that their child is in great care. Please reach out if your child would be best supported by having a buddy during services or other events!

Grace Students | Middle School & High School Supports:

Our desire is to remove any barriers that prevent a student from having the opportunity to fully participate in our student ministry programs. We strive for all students to experience fellowship and the opportunity to grow their faith. Supports are evaluated from student to student, as we know each students brings a unique perspective, background, and needs.

Grace Young Adults | Supports:

Our desire is to remove any barriers that prevent a Young Adult from having the opportunity to fully participate in the Young Adult ministry, or other areas of the church. We strive for all young adults to have the opportunity to engage in fellowship, deepen faith, and serve. A variety of supports are available and vary depending on what best supports an individual.

Rest Day

Rest Day has become one of Grace Fellowship Church’s largest outreaches to the community, enabling parents of children with disabilities an afternoon of rest.
