Grace not only longs to provide opportunities inside the church for those affected by disability, but also to connect people to the great resources in our community. Below are a few opportunities or supports that we feel confident connecting you to for your journey.
Empowered to Connect 2017Empowered To Connect - a two-day conference designed to help adoptive and foster parents, ministry leaders, churches, and professionals better understand how to connect with “children from hard places” in order to help them heal and become all that God desires for them to be. Grace will be a satellite host for this conference on Fri & Sat April 7th and 8th from 9:30am-6pm. This conference costs $15/person which covers conference materials and lunch on Saturday. We are sorry but we are unable to provide childcare during the conference. If you need to register a group please email us to receive special registration instructions. Pre-registration is required by April 2nd so we can ensure we have enough materials.

The Empowered to Connect Conference is a wonderful opportunity for professionals to receive continuing education credits to use towards their licensing requirements. Approval: The Empowered to Connect Conference and Simulcast has been approved by the National Board of Certified Counselors for NBCC credit. Show Hope is responsible for all aspects of the program (NBCC Approval Number SP-2801). The simulcast is approved by the National Association of Social Workers for 5.5 continuing education contact hours on Friday (Approval #886649357-1759) and 5.5 continuing education contact hours on Saturday (Approval #886649357-8997). Please note that simulcast viewers seeking NASW credit will be required to complete a post-test and receive a score of 80% or above to receive a certificate.
