    How to Become a Student Ministry Leader //

    The Application Process

     

    1. EXPRESS INTEREST

    Complete our online LEADER INTEREST FORM. You may have an interest in serving God by loving students, but you are unsure as to where you might "fit" in youth ministry. We will help you with this process. Some of the most "unlikely people" make the greatest youth workers! You can expect a phone call from an Grace Students staff member within one week of submitting your Leader Interest Form.

     

    2. OBSERVE GRACE STUDENTS LARGE GROUP PROGRAM

    If possible, we encourage you to observe our large group program (Sept-May) to get a better feel for the ministry as well as have a chance to meet students and other leaders. During the summer months our program looks a bit different, but we would still live love to connect in person. Let us know you are coming by contacting Christine Seese at cseese@gfc.org.



    3. COMPLETE THE ON-LINE STUDENT MINISTRY LEADER APPLICATION

    Our application was designed to obtain appropriate information for our screening process and will be emailed to you once we reach this point in the process. Please note that in addition to asking you to share your testimony, we also request three character references.
    An in-person interview with a Grace Students Staff Member will follow. We will discuss a more specific position description that fits your spiritual gifts as well as review our LEADER GUIDELINES & EXPECTATIONS document. A mandatory background check is required at this time.
     After you have prayerfully decided you want to make a commitment to serve in Grace Students, submit your signed COMMITMENT COVENANT to a staff member. We will determine your ministry start date together.
