Grace Timonium

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations worldwide through simple, gift-filled shoeboxes. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.

VIRTUAL SHOEBOX DONATIONS

You can now pack a virtual shoebox and our team will do all of the shopping for you! That’s right, now you can make a significant impact in a child’s life across the globe, right from your living room. We have set a goal of collecting 500 virtual shoebox donations. Help us make Significant Moments in the lives of hundreds of children around the world this holiday season!

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

You start by picking up an empty shoebox from Grace. Shoeboxes can be picked up every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. through November 18th.

After you pick up your empty shoeboxes, determine if you would like to shop for a boy, girl, or both! See the gift suggestions below.

GOOD NEWS, GREAT JOY

Start with a quality “wow” item such as a stuffed animal, soccer ball with pump, or clothing outfit that will capture the child’s attention the instant he or she opens the box. See our gift suggestions according to age and gender listed below for other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies to fill the shoebox.

Once I fill my Shoebox, what do I do with it?

Place a rubber band around each closed shoebox. There are two options for dropping off your shoeboxes. You can drop off your Shoebox every Wednesday evening from 4-7 p.m. at Grace through November 18th. In addition, our Shoebox collection week is November 16-23rd. During that week, we will be collecting shoeboxes from Grace and other organizations in the area and preparing them for shipment around the world. See the collection week drop-off dates and times below:
