Grace has strategically adopted opportunities to spread God’s kingdom throughout the world. Through mission trips and and other global opportunities, we assist with church planting, agricultural projects, natural disasters recovery, education, medical care and sharing the Gospel.
Every summer, Grace Fellowship seeks to glorify God through compassionate outreach to people all over the world. We provide opportunities for God’s people to enter into a transformational experience with Him, to develop a heart for His purposes to redeem the world, and develop the habit of life long service.
“Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” is a dynamic course that will help you understand God’s plan for our world and for you. You will study God’s word from four perspectives–biblically, historically, strategically, and culturally. The course is taught by professors, international field workers, and professionals who have seen God at work all over the world. This is the most comprehensive course available to give you a strategic overview of what God is doing in our world today. You will gain a fresh understanding of the “news behind the news” as you see how the living God is moving in it all.
Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is an integral part of Grace’s global outreach efforts. A division of Samaritan’s Purse, OCC began in 1993 and has distributed over 100 million shoeboxes to children in over 130 countries. Each shoebox contains school supplies, toys, clothes, hygiene items, and a personal note. For many of the children, it is the first gift they have ever received. So, each shoebox is really an opportunity for children to know that God loves them and cares about each of them individually. Over and over again God’s sovereignty has been shown as a child receives exactly what he or she needs in a shoebox. As the shoeboxes are distributed the gospel message is presented, either verbally or through a booklet in the native language. Grace has supported this ministry for many years and serves as a regional collection site. Shoebox season begins in October and concludes during collection week in November. Serving opportunities include distributing and collecting shoeboxes during the season, packing shoeboxes, and preparing shoeboxes from the entire Baltimore area during Collection Week for shipping to the Processing Center and other locations.
Come pray for the Nations! The Grace Beyond prayer team meets every other week to pray for our workers in the field, our adopted people groups and the national believers, our international partners, and the ministry as a whole. We meet on two Sunday mornings each month, at 11:00 a.m.
