About Grace

Inspiring a Life Worth Pursuing

Grace Fellowship Church is a vibrant, intergenerational community committed to inspiring a life worth pursuing in Baltimore and beyond. Rooted in the mission to make disciples who make disciples, GFC emphasizes two core promises: making moments significant and multiplying its reach. GFC extends its impact locally and globally by responding willingly to go beyond itself, choosing generosity, and stewarding resources to make a meaningful difference in the world.

Our mission is to reach the lost,
making disciples who make Disciples.

Vision Statement

Over the next 10 years, we see a bold, Spirit-filled movement igniting across our region that’s transformative, multi-cultural, and committed to making disciples. Starting with our Timonium campus, revival will radiate across our region as we launch dynamic, connected campuses throughout the 695 corridor.

Each campus will serve as a kingdom hub—a beacon of light—where thousands encounter Christ, lives are changed, and entire communities are healed and restored. Together, we will see people, neighborhoods, and cities renewed for the glory of God, creating a legacy of faith that endures for generations.

Heart for the Lost

We are people who live on mission all the time. With hearts beating for those who don’t yet know Jesus, we passionately pursue the unreached and overlooked in the Baltimore region. Through vibrant worship and authentic connection, we invite the 92% who don’t attend church to encounter Christ, say yes to Him, choose baptism, and grow as disciples.

Key Scripture: “If a man has a hundred sheep and one of them gets lost, what will he do? Won’t he leave the ninety-nine others in the wilderness and go to search for the one that is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he will joyfully carry it home on his shoulders. When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep.’ In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!” —Luke 15:4-7

Fruitful Multiplication

As Christians, we’re not just receivers; we’re planters. Like seeds in good soil, we grow in God’s love and multiply, spreading His truth from one person to the next. Each act of faith becomes a seed, growing into a movement that reaches far beyond our walls and into future generations.
Key Scripture: “To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.” —Matthew 25:29

Multicultural Oneness

GFC is a Christ-centered community where every nation, race, culture, color, and ethnic background finds belonging and purpose. United by the Spirit and guided by the Lamb, we build profound, transformative relationships that enrich our daily lives. We live out Jesus’ command to love one another, celebrating our differences. We stand together as one family, nurtured in one household, for His glory.
Key Scripture: “After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a great roar, ‘Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!’” —Revelation 7:9-10
360° Culture of Honor Icon.

360° Culture of Honor

We cultivate a 360° culture of honor, where each person is seen, valued, and empowered to shine. Honor is the key that unlocks the divine gifts within others, enabling us to receive their unique contributions with humility and gratitude. No matter someone’s role, season, or story, we treat everyone with a reverence that reflects God’s heart. When we esteem others above ourselves, we make room for their God-given potential to flourish—and in doing so, glorify Him. This culture of honor fosters unity, amplifies God’s purpose in each life, and builds a supportive community. It also embraces gentle accountability that lovingly encourages those not yet living honorably to step into this transformative way of life.
Key Scripture: “Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.” —Philippians 2:3-4

Persistent Prayer

Nothing of eternal significance happens without prayer. It fuels effective ministry, shifts spiritual atmospheres, and aligns hearts and circumstances with God’s will. Through humble, consistent prayer, we welcome His presence and power—unlocking transformation, healing, and the fulfillment of His purposes.

Key Scripture: “Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land. My eyes will be open and my ears attentive to every prayer made in this place.” —2 Chronicles 7:14-15

What We Believe

We affirm that the Godhead exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Accordingly, these three are One God.

Genesis 1:1,26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19-20; John 4:24; 2 Corinthians 13:14

We affirm that Jesus Christ is God incarnate – fully God and fully man. He is God’s only Son and the sole mediator between God and man. We affirm His preexistence, His incarnation, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary atonement, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His bodily return from heaven one day.

John 3:16; 1 Timothy 2:5; John 1:1-14; Matthew 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:15; Romans 3:23-25; Acts 2:24-27; Acts 1:9-11; Titus 2:13

We affirm that God the Holy Spirit is the third person of the triune God. Therefore, the Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, baptizes, and seals all followers of Christ at the time of conversion, and fills those followers who are yielded to God.

Matthew 28:19; John 3:3-7; Romans 8; 1 Corinthians 2:12, 6:19, 12:13; Ephesians 4:30; Titus 3:5

We affirm that God inspired every word in the original writings of the Holy Scriptures and they are without error. Therefore, the Bible is the final standard of faith and practice for the follower of Jesus Christ and for His Church.

Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21

We affirm that man was created in the image of God, that he then sinned in Adam, and that he is now a sinner by nature and by choice. However, man retains the essence of God’s image even in his fallenness.

Genesis 1:26-27, 3:1-6; Romans 3:10-18; 5:12-14; James 3:9

We affirm that salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, as a gift of God apart from human merit, works, or ceremonies. A person is rescued from eternal judgment and restored to right relationship with God, mankind, and creation when he/she receives and acknowledges this gift of eternal life from God. Salvation is in and through Jesus Christ and His death on the cross for our sin. Once secured, it is sealed and sustained by the Holy Spirit eternally.

Acts 4:12, 16:31; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10

We affirm the resurrection of the human body, the eternal existence of all humanity in either heaven or hell, and divine judgments and rewards.

John 5:25-29, 11:25-26; 1 Corinthians 15:51-57; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 20:11-15

We affirm that the Church is the spiritual body of which Christ is the Head, and that there is a two-fold aspect to this body — specifically the universal Church (which includes all followers of Christ) and local churches (which are comprised of followers of Christ who meet together regularly for worship, teaching, etc.).

Ephesians 1:22-23; Philippians 2:1; 1 Thessalonians 1:1; Revelation 2:3

We affirm that Jesus instituted two sacraments for the local church – COMMUNION (a memorial of the atoning death of Christ until He comes again) and BAPTISM (a person publicly declaring their decision to follow Christ). We participate regularly as a church body in the sacrament of communion, and we encourage every Christ-follower to be baptized after trusting Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and Savior.

Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:41; Luke 22:14-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-24, 26

We affirm that every believer has received from the Holy Spirit at least one spiritual gift. When a person exercises his/her gift, he/she contributes to the work of the Body of Christ. Therefore, we encourage every believer to discover and exercise his/her spiritual gift(s).

1 Corinthians 12:4-31; Romans 12:3-8; Ephesians 4:1-16

We are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission, sharing the Gospel and making disciples, as commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-2.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them… and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you”

Matthew 28:19-20 NIV

We believe that all human life is sacred, created in the image of God.

“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.”

Genesis 1:27 NIV

We affirm that the creational design and God’s original intent was and still is that the sacrament of marriage be experienced as the union of one man and one woman for their lifetime. We, therefore, also believe that any and every sexual encounter outside of the covenant of marriage is contrary to God’s best for His people and is, consequently, a sin. As described in the GFC Elder’s Statement on Sexuality, we uphold marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman.

“That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.”

Genesis 2:24 NIV

We affirm the inclusion of women in all levels of leadership within our church, recognizing the value and gifts of both men and women of all ages in fulfilling God’s work.

“There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”

Galatians 3:28 NIV

We believe in the continuation of the gifts of the Spirit as vital and active in today’s church and, therefore, encourage dynamic and active engagement with the Holy Spirit in our worship and ministry

“To each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good… All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.”

1 Corinthians 12:7-11 NIV
